I’m Tim Sweeney, a globally experienced brand marketing and storytelling leader with over 20 years of experience building premium consumer brands across North America, Europe, and Australia.

I’ve held global and regional leadership roles at brands including Salomon and Callaway Golf, working at the intersection of brand strategy, campaign development, and storytelling—helping translate product innovation, culture, and purpose into narrative platforms that drive relevance, demand, and long-term growth.

Today, through Twin Thieves Media, I partner with brands and leadership teams who believe story is a strategic advantage—supporting positioning, narrative architecture, campaign development, and select creative projects. I value work that is ambitious, thoughtful, and human. I take the work seriously, but not myself, and I’m at my best collaborating with people who share that balance.

WHY ‘TWIN THIEVES’?

The name Twin Thieves Media derives from a poem called “The Station” by Robert Hastings, which was shared to me by my father. In the poem, Hastings writes that “regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today.” I always loved that line. The mission of Twin Thieves Media is to work on projects we are passionate about with people we like and respect, and to operate without fear or regret. Read “The Station” here.
